WELCOME
COME PILGRIM, AND BE WELCOME IN THIS HOLY PLACE
MAY YOU FIND REST AND PEACE WITHIN THESE ANCIENT WALLS.
Lying in a loop of the River Lugg beneath Dinmore Hill, St Michael and All Angels Church's lantern top tower draws pilgrims from every direction. Most approach through the lych-gate on the north side, others walk over the ancient water meadows and cross the Lugg footbridge on the south. Some come past Bodenham Lakes to the west and through the old turn-gate or under the giant cedars through the graveyard to the east.
Whichever route you take, you have entered a building hallowed by 1000 years of worship.

COME & VISIT
The village of Bodenham is situated approximately 12 miles north of the Cathedral City of Hereford where the medieval Mappi Mundi and Chained Library are located. Herefordshire may be one of the smallest counties in England, but it has a big heart with much to offer. Cider making, Black and White timbered cottages, Herefordshire Cattle, books at Hay on Wye and drinking beer made from local hops, there's something for everyone in Herefordshire!
